Blackened Tofu “Fish” Tacos

These baja inspired tacos are so fresh they belong on the beach.

Blackened tofu served over carrot and cabbage slaw with avocado, red onion and cilantro in a corn tortilla and served with a slice of lime.


I’ve made the major components of these tacos previously, the slaw recipe can be foundΒ hereΒ and the blackened tofu recipe can be foundΒ here.

To assemble: brown the tortillas in a pan over medium heat, lay a bed of slaw, top with strips of blackened tofu, and top with avocado, diced red onion, minced cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
